Recently I had the pleasure of being welcomed into the gorgeous-ness that is Goldsborough Hall. It’s still seen as a relatively new wedding venue in Yorkshire, despite being open a few years, it’s still an emerging hidden gem!
As you would expect, the 17th Century grade II listed stately hall (which happens to be the former residence of Princess Mary) boasts stunning grounds, an array of grand reception rooms and exquisite bedroom suites. Most impressively though it’s one of only a few venues in the area that can hold the closest thing to the much coveted ‘outdoor wedding’.
What sets it apart from your average hotel venue is that the Hall is actually a private family home. This means it’s ideal for bespoke celebrations, a blank canvas to create exactly the type of wedding you want and the attention to detail you’ll receive from its owners is second to none.
The entire Hall is exclusively yours for the big day, offering intimacy and privacy for you and your guests, in sensational surroundings. Practically it also ticks all the essential boxes; there is ample free parking, fabulous transport routes and six beautiful bedroom suites available for you and your special guests. There is even private access from the Hall to the picture-pretty village church, in case you’re planning a religious ceremony.
If you fancy bobbing along to see all that Goldsborough Hall has to offer for yourself, then be sure to visit their Wedding Open Evening on Wednesday 16th March from 6-8pm . Oh, and don’t forget to ask about the possibilities that the Hanson Conservatory offers for an outdoor ceremony too!
Other great regional suppliers will be showcasing their talents on the night including; The Event Music Company, florist Lucy MacNicholl and chair cover specialist It’s A Cover Up. The Harrogate Wedding Lounge will also be holding a catwalk show of some of their latest designer dresses.
Goldsborough Hall is located in Goldsborough village, five miles outside Harrogate in North Yorkshire.
